A new live music venue (The Crow Rooms) officially opened January 17th 2009. Starting the night of was Sam Naylor with his Newton Faulkner-esque style of playing, followed by local band Like Giants with their energetic, Indie Rock. The night was topped off by St Ives band Oracy, one of the top bands in South West Cornwall.

The Crow Rooms is located beneath the Isobar nightclub on Tregenna Hill, by day The Crow Room offers rehearsal space for bands and dance groups and a top venue for live music at night.
